Max's First Day of School

Max Started 1st grade on Tuesday September 3rd 2013. 

We live fairly close to the school so he we have to walk to school and back. School starts at 7:50 am so we made sure to get up early so we would have enough time to get there.  I opened the door to his room at about 6:40am and he popped right up and started to get ready (If only he would react like that every day).  It was a beautiful morning and the walk was a great way to start the day!

Isla said she couldn't walk anymore, so Max generously volunteered to carry her.
I just had to get a picture of this brotherly love.  

Max's teacher is Mrs. McAdow.
When Max was in kindergarten, his class went to read with the 1st graders in Mrs. McAdow's class.
So Max was really excited to get her as his teacher

He was excited to have his own desk, with his own science book and pencil box.

He had a great first day and first week in first grade!! 

I know he will have a great year!
