June 25th -June 27th Henlopen Beach

We went to Henlopen Beach for the weekend. We had been there a few times before and were excited for another opportunity to go. This time we would be taking Bob's RV to "camp" in. The kids had so much fun traveling in the RV! They just thought it was the greatest thing (it made me a bit sick)!
I love the beach! we had so much fun playing in the waves and the sand. And being together as a family!

Max could practically spent the whole day running away from the waves with this smile on his face :)

They were excited to find this little creature!

Hanging out in the RV

We had fun with the glow sticks

Max loves himself some Smores!

The next day we headed back to the beach. But this time is was windy and rainy.
So we just played in the sand and looked for seashells. We all had a great time!

After the beach we stopped at the Henlopen Nature Center to check out some of the sea creatures

We then stopped at a Dairy Queen for lunch. It was a small Dairy Queen that didn't have any indoor seating. So we felt fortunate that we had an RV with a table that we could eat at.
After lunch we made our way back to Ashburn.

But before we got there we decided to stop at the Washington D.C. Temple.
We had stopped there before on our way back from the beach before and decided that it was the best place for a bathroom break. So we stopped there again.

The kids loved that they could lay down and sleep as we traveled!

It was such a fun weekend!
