Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Christmas Time is my Favorite time of the year!

We started Christmas Eve off by Decorating Gingerbread houses

That evening we gathered with the Losee's and the kids acted out the Nativity story

Wyatt was so excited that right before the nativity he jumped of a chair and hit his chin on a bench
We bandaged it up with a butterfly bandaid (we were grateful we didn't have to go to the emergency room)
and he soon fell asleep and missed the production

For the past 5 years we have celebrated Christmas Eve with the Carr family. We missed being with them, but were so grateful to spend the evening with the rest of my family.

Getting the cookies and Rootbeer ready for Santa

We had the kids all ready for bed and I think Max and Isla were already in bed, but because Wyatt had taken such a late nap, he was still wide awake. So we got Isla and Max out of bed and handed them their swimsuits and went and got in Grandpa's hot tub. It was a fun way to finish off the night!

Once the kids were finally asleep (They all slept in the same room)
Bob wrapped up the door so that we would be able to hear them when they woke up.

Max was so excited for his Mega nerf Gun!

Oliver loved his basketball hoop

Wyatt had fun with his car set

And Isla sang all morning long :)

Isla loved the Rupunzel dress Allie gave her

I LOVED being able to go to my Grandma's house on Christmas night
Every year while i was growing up we would go visit Grandma and Grandpa on Christmas.
I had missed being able to go the last 5 years. So it made me really happy to go again

She always makes carmel popcorn for her visitors

For dinner that night we kept to Bob's families tradition and had latkeys, fruit and cheese by candle light
It was a wonderful Christmas!
That weekend we went up to Salt Lake and stayed with Sam and Heather and went to the Wells Family Christmas Breakfast. It was fun to be able to go to that again too.
This is the only picture I have from the weekend.
