New Year's Eve and Snow days

We celebrated the new year with the Carr Family. Shelli had some balloons for the kids to pop every half hour with papers inside with different activities to do.  It was a fun night of games, movies and yummy treats. After we watched the ball drop on tv, Bob and I left with the little boys and Max and Isla stayed to sleep over. Shelli put a movie on for them, expecting them to fall asleep, but Isla, Max and Liam watched the whole movie and didn't go to sleep until 2:00am.

The girls watching a movie in there Nap Sacks

The boys eating Muddy Buddies.

Happy New Year!!!!

We have had quite a few cold days and day's out of school this month.  When the weather forecasted extremely cold weather, Bob decided to fill up some buckets to see how fast it would freeze. We also froze some T-Shirts.

Oliver learned a new trick

I just love sleeping pictures
On January 21st there was another forecast of extreme cold and lots of snow. School was canceld and so was work for Bob. It didn't start snowing until 9:00am. We ended up getting about 8 inches and the rest of the week off from school.

Going for a ride
Oliver liked it too!

Why wait until summer time to have a BBQ

Bob went out to shovel the snow, he got a little distracted and built a snow fort while he was out there.

Love your posts! I love that you BBQ in the winter. We do too! With the inversion you can smell our burgers or steaks all over the entire neighborhood.
The cabin trip looked like a blast.
