Max had a checkup with his ophthalmologist last Wednesday, and after checking his vision and eye alignment she said that everything was looking pretty good. His eyes were tracking together when focusing on objects at a distance, but closer up his bad eye would start to turn in again, however she wasn't too worried about it at this point.
We still have to wait it out a month or so to see if things will straighten out completely, but there is a huge, noticeable improvement over what his eyes were doing prior to the surgery.
A week and a day after his surgery, Max played in his first post-surgery T-ball game. He did a great job and had a lot of fun, but mostly he was excited for what was coming after the game.

| He gets a little bored when he plays outfield (or pretty much any position) and instead plays in the dirt. |

As Shayla had promised, we took Max to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch. The kid was in heaven! I think he only ate one piece of pizza (Isla only had one bite), but they both had a ton of fun running around and playing all of the games. I have to admit, Shayla and I had quite a bit of fun too!
