On Friday Dec. 3rd we decided to take the kids to see Santa. Max was pretty excited about it and told Santa that he wanted more GeoTrax trains and nothing else.
Isla wasn't really a fan of Santa and refused to sit on his knee.
Because we don't have any snow yet Santa didn't have his Sleigh with him. So he brought a firetruck instead. Max got to explore the inside of it and...
He even got to "drive" it. He was so excited!
On Saturday the 4th we lined up some babysitters for the kids and went to a USU basketball game. We were so excited when we heard that that the Aggies would be playing Georgetown we promised each other that we would go. We were even more excited when we got an email from someone in the area that had organized an Aggie section so that a lot of the Aggies could sit together. USU even sent us all some free game day shirts for the occasion. We had a lot of fun, even though our team lost.

After the game we decided that we needed a Christmas Tree so we went on the hunt. Our first stop was Home Depot. But we decided we wanted a taller tree and we wanted to go some where more Christmasy. So our next stop was at a little tree farm about ten minutes from our house. We thought it would be fun to cut down our own tree but when the guy told us it was 10 dollars a foot, we decided to check one other place. The Aldie FireStation. Here they had Christmas trees all lined up and it and people walking around trying to find the perfect tree. It had just the Christmasy feel we were looking for. Max found the perfect tree right away. A 12 foot tall and 4 foot wide $160 dollar tree. After talking him out of that one and convicing him that it wouldn't fit in our house we decided on one of the ugliest and cheapest trees they had.
Getting it home
Tada
Happy Birthday Bob!!
On Sunday Dec. 5th Bob turned 31.
I found these pics. that Bob and Max took of each other, I thought they were pretty funny
Blowing out the candles.
I decided to try something new this year for Bob's cake and went with a Chocolate ganache icing and filling. It was pretty good!
I hope Bob had a good birthday.
I love you Bob!!

awe, I love your real Christmas tree. (we miss you guys, why couldn't you have picked salt lake - or logan - to move to!)
I love the two shots of you guys at USU games... look pretty much the same in the last 4 years. Looks like you are having a great holiday season. Wish you would have waited to go to St. G over Christmas. OH well. We will see you one of these years. Hope all is well.
It's pretty much unanimous. We miss you! Happy belated Roberto!
Shay! I am an awful friend. We phone tagged for a while and then both got busy. Your family looks great and you seem to be enjoying the holiday season. Miss you.
