The fifth weekend of March 2008 was probably the best fifth weekend of any March in 2008 I've ever had. We drove up to American Fork late Friday night and spent the night with our good friend Austin and his new wife Marianne. On Saturday we drove up to Ogden to meet some friends for breakfast. When we got up to Ogden it was cold, windy, and snowy! We were glad we were just there for breakfast. We met some of our good friends from Logan and their new little baby. This was the first time we'd seen them since we moved from Logan to St. George last year. We ate breakfast at a restaurant called Jeremiah's and it was very tasty.
After breakfast we drove back to Salt Lake and went to a couple of stores. Eventually we met up with Austin and Marianne again and then we left to go to the Real Salt Lake soccer game. It was a little bit cold but we had a great time at the game. RSL played against the Chicago Fire and dominated most of the game. It was nice to see some really good soccer being played. In the end the game resulted in a tie, but it was still a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to the next one!
