Grandpa Schmutz died on January 28th. We were so grateful to be able to attend his funeral and honor his memory.

We stayed at a hotel in Kanab and had a great time hanging out with
Bob's family and swimming in the pool and playing at the park. 

Max had a great basketball season! He had a awesome team with a great coach.
His cousin Zach was on his team along with a bunch of other boys from school. 

I always love watching him play!!

Bob, Oliver and I went out to Moccasin so that Bob could cut this dead tree. 

I went with Oliver's preschool class on their field trip to the post office

Bob pulled through for this girl and made an amazing Eiffel Tower valentine box for her. 

Wyatt decorated his valentine bag at school. 

Oliver had a great valentines party at school as well!

Isla and I went on a little girls night and went window shopping and just hung out. Instead of getting ice-cream, she decided to get chicken wings from Papa Johns (her favorite).

We went and hiked Hell Hole canyon again.
We had to leave early when we hiked it in January so we decided to go again and make it to the little pools of water. 

After our hike we came home and roasted hot dogs out back. 

Another Sunday play. This one was Peter and the Wolf. 

You can't tell in this picture, but it is snowing. We were all pretty excited about it!!

It is kind of a big deal when it snows here. 

They got even more snow in Diamond Valley. So we drove up there to check it out. 

Then we stopped at the school to play in the snow.
Just so happens that Max's friend were there playing too. 

We went out to moccasin again to help get this stove into the house.
It didn't quite fit through the door, so they had to take a bunch of things off before they finally got it to fit. 

I don't think basketball is her favorite

Bob took me mountain biking out past Santa Clara.
I went over the handle bars within the first 5 minutes and was so scarred the rest of the time. But I hung in there and finished the ride.
