Bringing Bob Home Oct. 24th-28th 2015

We had been counting down the days for almost a year to the day that Bob could move back to Utah with us. We were so happy when the day finally came!!!
Since Bob would be driving home I decided to fly out to VA and drive home with him.

I flew in on a Sat. morning and that afternoon we met up with one of Bob's old coworkers for lunch. Then we strolled around Georgetown for a bit and decided to go on a little fall cruise on the Potomac.
It was very relaxing and beautiful!

The famous Georgetown cupcakes
The line was way to long for a cupcake.
So I just took a picture

I think this is the Water Gate hotel
We also walked down to the Kennedy Center and walked through. One of the shows was in Intermission so we sort of just walked in and had a look around and took a few pics and left after the usher told us we couldn't take pictures.
The ceiling in the Kennedy Center

We took a two hour detour so that we could go to Sonny's for dinner.
The detour was well worth it!
After we left Sonny's we drove for a few hours before getting a hotel.
The next morning we drove to Kansas and hung out with Bob's parents in Kansas for the rest of the day.
We got up really early the next morning and headed home to Utah

Max and Isla waited up for us

We were so happy to be home together at last!
