The last few days in VA

I am so glad we got to spend the summer in Virginia! It was so hard for me to move away from all of our friends and our wonderful ward! It was good to for me to be able to spend one last summer there and enjoy all the things that we loved about VA. And we will be forever grateful to the Jantzens, for letting us live in their basement for the summer!

I don't know why she was so grumpy,
but at least we have a picture of our last time going to church with the Brambleton ward
On Monday we went to the pool with my friend Jenny Larsen and her girls.
Sleepy boy
I finally got the courage to stop by our old house
(it made me too sad to stop there earlier in our trip)
This grass was just to the side of our house, We had spent a lot of time here
playing tag and baseball and having water balloon fights and playing in the snow

This behind and a bit North of our home. Max loved this place and called it Max Land
(even our neighbor friends called it that)

We had a good time hanging out there again!
That night we colored some shirts like cows and headed to Chick-fil-a for a free dinner
(you had to dress like a cow to get the free meal)

Bob working in the trees

That night he brought his gear home and took the kids climbing.
They had a fun time!

We lived in VA for 5 years and had gotten a number of tics on us through the years, but never once had we gotten chiggers. But the very last day in VA, they all got chiggers from this tree!
