We survived Hurricane Irene. It was got a lot of wind and rain.
It was just like any other storm, this one just lasted longer.
Isla playing out in the hurricane.
We had a few super hero's come to visit.
We bought a freezer on Craigs List for $50 bucks, and so Bob and Max went to pick it up. It was a bit late when they got back and so they decided to have a camp out in the basement. Max got everything ready by getting toothbrushes and pajamas for him and Bob, he even got thier blankets. I laughed when I went upstairs to my room to see that Max had pulled the blankets off of my bed for Bob. Max was so excited and he kept asking
"Your going to sleep down here all night right dad?"
Bob was able to get a lot of projects done while he was home with us for the last two weeks.
I was really nervous about him when I saw how he managed to get high enough to fix the window.
Max had his first soccer practice on the 2nd of September. One of the dad's from our ward was tired of paying the huge fee's for the soccer leagues so he organized his own little soccer team with a bunch of boys from the ward. Max is excited to play soccer again, and it will be a great way for him to get to know the other kids in our ward better.
For Labor Day weekend Chad and Amy and their boys came up to visit and to meet Baby Wyatt. A Cafe Rio recently opened up about 30 minutes away from us, so we went there for lunch and then went to the Bull Run battle field. It was fun having the Sorensen's come visit and the cousins all had a blast playing together.

Shayla, your children are so adorable! I can't wait to meet Wyatt and see your whole family!
Bob should be a stuntman!
